Ariana Debose to return as host of 2023 Tony Awards

Fresh from her concert at the London Palladium last weekend, it has been announced that Ariana DeBose will return to host this year’s Tony Awards at United Palace in Washington Heights, New York on 11 June.

DeBose won an Oscar for her performance in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, was Tony nominated for her performance as Disco Donna in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, and was an original cast member in Hamilton, both on and off Broadway.

The Tony Awards eligibility cut-off date for the 2022–23 season is 27 April 2023 for all Broadway productions which meet all other eligibility requirements. Nominations will be announced on 2 May 2023.

The 76th Tony Awards will be broadcast live on CBS.
