As part of hers and Daniel Evans’ inaugural season as Co-Artistic Directors at the RSC, Tamara Harvey makes her RSC directorial debut with Shakespeare’s stirring tale of love, hope and miracles, Pericles, with Alfred Enoch (Harry Potter, The Couple Next Door) in the title role from 26 July - 21 September.

When Prince Pericles solves a riddle set by the King, he knows the answer could get him killed. Fleeing for safety, he finds himself swept away on an epic voyage that will see him battle princes, marry his true love and become a father. But this is also a journey of storms and shipwrecks, abduction and devastating loss. Adrift in an ocean of grief, will Pericles ever see his family again?

The production features set design by Jonathan Fensom, with costumes by Kinnetia Isidore, lighting by Ryan Day, music by Claire Van Kampen, movement direction by Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster, and casting by Matthew Dewsbury CDG.
