9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL extends tour due to popular demand
Due to popular demand, Landmark Theatres have announced that the UK tour of 9 to 5 The Musical, the ultimate feel-good musical comedy, has been extended and will now run until September 2026.
With a star cast to be announced, tickets go on sale tomorrow (6 February).
With sass, style, and a whole lot of ‘Dolly’ sparkle the brand-new production opens at Peterborough New Theatre in July, new tour dates include Bridlington Spa, Ipswich Regent Theatre, Worthing Pavilion Theatre, Coventry Belgrade Theatre and White Rock Theatre Hastings, alongside the previously announced Queen’s Theatre Barnstaple, Blackpool Grand, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford and Darlington Hippodrome.
Produced by Landmark Theatres by arrangement with Music Theatre International, 9 to 5 The Musical marks a major milestone as Landmark’s first in house-production to tour nationally. It is directed by Paul Jepson, with musical supervision by Mark Crossland, and set and costume design by Amanda Stoodley.
CEO and Creative Director at Landmark Theatres, Paul Jepson, said: ““We’re thrilled to extend the tour of 9 to 5 The Musical following such an incredible response. This is Landmark Theatres’ biggest tour to date and represents a pivotal moment in our growth as a producing organisation. It reflects our ambition to create bold, popular musical theatre at scale, with exceptional acting, reaching audiences far beyond our own venues. We can’t wait to share this joyful, empowering production with communities across the country and continue building vibrant, inclusive theatre that truly connects.”
